In honor of Women’s History Month, C3 hosted an empowerment event designed to equip over 50 women with the tools needed to maximize their career potential from start to finish with the help of other women that specialize in identifying, developing, and marketing talent. Women are often hired in the workforce at a lower rate than men. This event helped teach women how to be bold, stand out, build their brand, become marketable, and learn all the right steps in taking charge of their career. It empowered women to not settle for being a statistic and prove society wrong by strategically showcasing the greatness they have to offer in the workforce. Guest speakers at the event were Kate Heaney (Account Executive at Indeed), Detrie Antunes (Vice President of Human Resources at Continuum of Care, Inc.) and Kendra Thomas (Founder of “Bit of Magic Marketing, LLC”).
